Terry is an MSHA expert who has worked both underground coal mines and spent almost 30 years with the Mine Safety and Health Administration. He has a Master’s Degree in Mine Safety, and in his 28 years with MSHA which included time as a Technical Director, he gained first-hand knowledge of how MSHA conducts inspections, enforces regulations, and litigates against mine operators.

This background gives mine operators who work with him today, a level of trust that few other consultants can offer. He understands what inspectors will be looking for, and what will hold up if litigation occurs. As a consultant for MSHA Safety Services, Terry works directly with our clients on navigating through MSHA requirements, developing stronger compliance programs, and providing support for our clients when they are facing litigation.
