Steve Gravely brings more than 40 years of hands-on mining experience to MSHA Safety Services, giving him a deep understanding of both the industry and the people who work in it. Having spent decades in mining himself, Steve connects with crews on a level few can, speaking their language and understanding the realities of the job.

At heart, Steve is a teacher. He’s passionate about helping people learn and always open to new ideas that can help the industry improve. Through training and hands-on support, Steve helps build safer workplaces and serves as a trusted resource for the mining community.
