Espanol: Part 48 Subpart B Annual Refresher Training

Part 48 Annual Refresher Training provides all the annual training required for surface-level metal and non-metal mine sites except for any site-specific hazards mines would like to include. This training also includes the Hazardous Communication Standard (HAZCOM) and is designed with interactive teaching methods that are shown to increase information retention and engagement.

This training is required by MSHA to be completed annually by all miners working on active surface-level metal or non-metal mine sites.

8 hours of online training is provided in a digital classroom with an experienced MSHA Blue Card certified instructor.

Specifications

  • Classes run from 7:15 AM to 3:15 PM MT (Salt Lake City, UT) per day. Classes outside these hours may be available upon request at an increased rate.
  • We will require a copy of the most up to date training record for verification purposes. Should your previous training record be 3+ years old you’ll be required to complete additional training.
  • Classes, unless otherwise noted, will be in English. All those in attendance will be expected to speak and understand English. Should an individual not understand English they will be removed from training and no refund provided. Spanish classes can be scheduled upon request.
