Leonardo “Leo” Corrales brings extensive experience in occupational health and safety, with a strong background in surface and underground mining, industrial operations, and construction safety. His professional experience includes safety management, workplace inspections, employee training, and the implementation of effective safety practices across a variety of industrial environments.

Leo holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is a MSHA-approved instructor for both surface and underground mining and is bilingual in English and Spanish, allowing him to effectively deliver safety training to a diverse workforce.

Throughout his career, Leonardo has demonstrated a commitment to strengthening workplace safety, improving operational practices, and equipping employees with the knowledge and skills necessary to perform their jobs safely.

As a member of the MSHA Safety Services team, Leonardo brings valuable field experience, technical expertise, and a passion for helping miners return home safely every day.
