Genalee brings nearly two decades of mining, construction, and industrial safety experience to MSHA Safety Services. She’s held leadership roles with companies including East Coast Drilling & Blasting, Holcim, Redpath Mining, OceanaGold Haile Gold Mine, Jerritt Canyon Gold, Ames Construction, and Newmont Mining, giving her deep, firsthand experience across both surface and underground operations, joining our team as a Safety Trainer.

As a Certified MSHA Trainer for surface, underground, and mine rescue, Genalee has delivered new miner, annual refresher, and task-specific training, and helped mine operators navigate MSHA compliance, industrial hygiene, contractor management, incident investigations, and safety program development — along with respirator fit testing, hearing conservation, occupational health monitoring, and emergency response coordination. She’s known for her practical, hands-on approach and her ability to build strong relationships with miners, supervisors, and clients. That combination of broad operational knowledge and genuine passion for helping people work safely makes her a valuable resource for anyone who gets to learn from her.
